I bring 14+ years of healthcare experience to share with you. I’m a passionate advocate for informed decisions and have a knack for explaining the complexities of health policy in clear, actionable terms. With degrees in BSc Respiratory Care, a Master’s in Public Health and an MSc in Digital Marketing & Communication- I would appreciate the opportunity to be your trusted guide in navigating the intersection of health, wellness and health policy.
Witnessing patients grapple with complex healthcare decisions ignited my passion for health literacy! I like to bridge the knowledge gap to empower individuals to be active participants in their healthcare journey, even if it doesn’t align with the narrative.
I firmly believe that informed self-advocacy and medical freedom are the cornerstones of optimal health and prosperity.
Individuals must be free to take charge of their health by gathering accurate information, understanding their options, and communicating effectively with healthcare providers to make informed decisions that align with their values and preferences.
Medical freedom is nuanced, but I believe adults with sound minds have the right to make decisions about their own medical care, free from coercion or undue influence. This includes the right to choose and refuse treatments, participate in research, and access relevant medical information.
As a health professional, I took the oath to do no harm which surpasses just the physical. Health decisions should be a collaborative process. I’ve empowered hundreds of people who feel isolated when making one of the most important decisions of their lives due to inadequate health information or decisions that don’t align with their values.
